Water Resource Management through Pond restoration and increasing ToF cover in Tijara Block, Distt. Alwar, Rajasthan

The project envisages conservation, development and sustainable management of natural resources to enhance the livelihoods and quality of life of local communities and evolve/ensure community participation.

 l To create awareness in the community about the linkage between water resource management, increased ToF cover and promotion of sustainable livelihood.

 l To restore one farm pond in Dhaki Village to its natural state

 l To increase the ToF cover in the area by planting 500 trees in and around the pond and also enhance the aesthetic value

 l To introduce 500 aquatic plants in the pond to maintain the water quality
