Comprehensive Community Development in Rewari: Solar for Health & Education and Road Safety Awareness

The Comprehensive Community Development in Rewari initiative adopts an integrated approach to strengthening essential community infrastructure across healthcare, education, and road safety. The project combines renewable energy solutions with school infrastructure improvements and community road safety interventions to promote a safer, more sustainable, and better-supported community environment.

The initiative includes the installation of 5 KW hybrid solar power systems at a Primary Health Centre (PHC) and a Government school, helping improve access to reliable and sustainable energy. The school will also receive essential facility upgrades to create a more supportive learning environment.

In addition, the project addresses community safety through road safety awareness campaigns and the installation of 25 barricades at identified high-risk locations, helping improve safety for pedestrians, commuters, and other road users.

Expected Impact

Implementation Approach

The project is being implemented through a bipartite partnership between Greenheck India Private Limited and CCSE (Centre for CSR and Sustainability Excellence). Through a combination of renewable energy deployment, educational infrastructure improvement, and road safety interventions, the initiative seeks to deliver integrated and sustainable community development outcomes across Rewari district.
