CCSE & Siegwerk India partner to restore pond in Tijara, Alwar

CCSE and Siegwerk India Private Limited have partnered for the implementation and management of Siegwerk's sustainability initiative centred around water resource management. The CSR programme envisages conservation, development and sustainable management of natural water resources in Tijara block of district Alwar in Rajasthan.

The pond restoration project at Dhaki village, is a joint social initiative of Siegwerk, CCSE and BGVS that has been conceptualized with an overarching aim of conservation, development and sustainable management of natural resources to enhance the livelihoods and quality of life of local communities. A site visit to Dhaki village was conducted on 25th August, 2022 to review the progress of the project and to set the context for the activities planned in the upcoming quarters. The event started with a detailed review of the project followed by a visit to the pond restoration site and finally tree plantations along the periphery of the pond and at Dhaki school.
