Building a Brighter Future: Solarization of a Senior Secondary Inter College in Greater Noida

The Building a Brighter Future initiative aims to promote renewable energy adoption in the education sector through the installation of a 10 KW hybrid solar photovoltaic (PV) system at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Inter College in Mohiapur, Dankaur, Greater Noida.

Serving approximately 1,200 students, the institution is being supported in its transition towards cleaner and more sustainable energy. The solar installation is expected to reduce dependence on conventional grid electricity, lower electricity expenditure, and contribute to reducing the institution's carbon footprint.

Beyond energy savings, the project seeks to demonstrate how educational institutions can adopt renewable energy solutions while creating greater awareness of environmental responsibility within the community.

Implementation Approach

The project is being implemented through a bipartite partnership between Caryaire Equipments India Pvt. Ltd. and CCSE (Centre for CSR and Sustainability Excellence). CCSE has engaged Shweta Janhit Sansthan as the sublet implementation agency to support project execution. The initiative combines renewable energy adoption with institutional sustainability, helping create a greener and more energy-efficient educational environment in Greater Noida.
